So the gym sucks lol
I got sick yesterday so I skipped going yesterday and today. But still I will keep it up. Even though it sucks. I think the hardest part is cardio. It's very hard for me to push my self with cardio. It's much easier to do so with weights. How much easier is it to tell yourself "one more push" then it is to think "just 5 more minutes". At least I find it easier.
Tiffany and I have been looking up workout online. There are more workouts then I could imagine. And for every workout there is another person saying stating that workout is bad for you. I tried having my free session with a trainer but I talked to much. Gabby gabby me. I didn't learn much but I think I'm ok on my own. At least for now. I'm not discouraged. I lost some more lbs so I'm gonna keep at it for now. Once I reach that barrier I will ask for a trainer. Or maybe by then KK will be back from her mission and she can become my trainer :)

I started this blog really for myself at the suggestion of my wonderful husband. Personal health is a problem tons of Americas have and I have struggled with it for years. After a discussion with my sister I decided to take action. This blog is a journal of that action.

Hello Again
Hi,
It's been a while since I've posted anything. I think I was intimidated because my weight loss has been slow. However over the last months I have lost a total 30 lbs. Pretty cool. I see myself everyday so truthfully it's just a number. I don't feel any different and really I don't think I look any different. But knowing that I have lost 30 lbs makes me want to keep going.
Tiffany is pretty inspirational. Last time she got into the gym she lost 40 lbs! So together we joined.....24 HOUR FITNESS. AHHHHHHHH a gym!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate getting sweaty and hot and blah!!! It isn't even the working part that bothers me. I don't mind working I just hate hot. But I was convinced because there is a (drum roll)............. a POOL!!!!!! I love water. I love pools so it was the big sales pitch. In fact today I went to aqua aerobics. My first time to the gym and I went without my gym partner lol. Tiffany's little boy isn't feeling to well. It was fun. I don't know how much of a work out it actually was though. I guess we will see how I'm feeling tomorrow.
I get one free trainer session and I still need to make the appointment and I hope it's a lot better then my experience with Bally's which really was blah.
I've decided I need a goal. Everyone needs a goal in life right lol. When thinking about what it should be it became clear that I shouldn't use a number. Numbers don't really reflect health. So my goal is to become a rock climber. I loved climbing trees and rocks when I was a kid. There is a rock climbing studio near my house and I always look at it and think "that would be awesome". So my goal is to get into shape enough to go rock climbing :) I'd also like to ride my bike to work but that's another goal I think is farther away then rock climbing lol. Anyway I'm back and that's the update so yeah. lol
